I love working with clients to help solve their most difficult problems.
What’s your role in the firm, and how do you make a difference?
I am a Principal in the CCF group and while I am new in my role, I strive to make a difference by providing a varied work experience which provides training and growth opportunities for my colleagues.
Who is/was the biggest influence in your business life and how did s/he shape who you’ve become?
My Mom. She is an entrepreneur with an amazing work ethic. I like to think that she instilled both of these qualities into me.
What issues in our community do you most care about, and how does it motivate you?
I have been on the Loyola Law School Board of Governors for 8 years and I have loved helping my alma mater grow and become an even better institution during that time. The Board's role is to help attract and retain students, to enhance the value of the alumni network, and to perform community outreach projects. I am proud of all the lives that we have positively impacted through the Board's charity events, scholarships, and mentoring programs.
What is your proudest professional moment, and why?
My proudest professional moment occurred at 4 a.m. I had been wrestling with how to structure an analysis for several weeks in a large litigation matter. I was dreaming about how to structure this analysis in excel and woke up wide awake with the whole analysis done in my head. I wrote it down immediately (and billed the client for my time). Our client won $76 million based on that dream.
If I weren’t an accountant/consultant, I’d be a __________________. Why?
A pilot. I've always wanted to fly since I was a child and in retrospect I almost wish I had joined the Air Force after or during college. I didn't because I have poor vision but still think about that road not traveled.
