Staff
Requirements Include:
Bachelor degree in Business, with emphasis in Accounting
Accounting Staff Positions – 
You will assist in problem solving and fact-finding, work side-by-side with more experienced team members who can provide you with direction, mentoring and learning opportunities. You will gain an understanding of the business by working on various stages of the engagement, including fieldwork in the area of compliance testing.

Typical responsibilities will include:

  • Participating in the planning of our engagements—audits, reviews, or compilations.
  • Assisting in performing audits, reviews, and compilations.
  • Assisting in the preparation of financial statements and apply areas of GAAP
  • Providing input to the engagement team on how to improve client internal controls and accounting procedures
  • Maintaining relationships and communicating with key client personnel to obtain an understanding of their business operations, processes and functions
  • Preparing work papers, to document work completed

Tax Staff Positions – You will assist in the preparation of tax returns, work side-by-side with more experienced team members who can provide you with direction, mentoring and learning opportunities. Typical responsibilities will include:

  • Working with tax software applications to complete tax returns for review.
  • Assisting with responses to notices from the IRS and other reporting agencies.
  • Assisting in the projection of year-end filings.
  • Computing quarterly estimates and other computations as needed.

Seniors

Requirements Include:

  • Bachelor degree in Business, with emphasis in Accounting.
  • 2+ years of recent public accounting experience; completion of the CPA exam – a plus

Accounting Seniors – You will work closely with clients and have the opportunity to gain an understanding of the business by working on various stages of the engagement. Typical responsibilities will include:

  • Executing audits, reviews, or compilations and taking responsibility for all stages of the engagement: planning, fieldwork and wrap-up
  • Preparing financial statements and apply areas of GAAP
  • Making suggestions to improve client processes and accounting procedures
  • Training and supervising accounting staff
  • Documenting, validating and developing tests and assessing various control systems

Managers

Requirements Include:

  • Bachelor degree in Business, with emphasis in Accounting, and the CPA
  • Masters of Science degree in Taxation or a J.D. highly preferred for Tax Management Position
  • 5+ years of experience performing research and providing quality technical advice
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrate leadership and supervisory skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including proven experience liaising with clients
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and use good judgment
  • Willingness to become a part of the firm's Mentoring Program

Accounting Managers

Typical responsibilities will include:

  • Building client relationships.
  • Marketing, networking and business development
  • Applying knowledge of business functions, processes and strategies
  • Supervising, directing and reviewing the results of the engagement
  • Supervising and training seniors and staff
  • Ensuring the profitability of the engagement, including billings and collections
  • Participating in the firm’s committee and management meetings

Tax Managers

Typical responsibilities will include:

  • Building client relationships through marketing, networking and business development
  • Evaluating and selecting alternative actions to lessen tax burden
  • Recognizing and communicating potential risks and identifying potential changes in the tax regulations
  • Identifying different methods of complying with tax requirements to align with business objectives
  • Supervising, directing and reviewing the results of the engagement
  • Supervising and training seniors and staff
  • Ensure the profitability of the engagement, including billings and collections
  • Participating in the firm’s committee and management meetings

Sr. Managers & Principals

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, with emphasis in Accounting, and the CPA
  • Master’s of Science degree in Taxation or a J.D. highly preferred for Tax Management position
  • 7+ years of experience performing research and providing quality technical advice
  • Prior leadership and supervisory experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including proven experience interfacing with clients
  • Ability to work independently and use good professional judgment
  • Strong mentoring skills and the desire to participate in our Mentoring Program
  • Decision-making skills
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Ability to think like a partner
