GHJ Promotes David Sternberg to Partner

LOS ANGELES, CA, Nov. 9, 2017… Effective January 1, 2018, GHJ (GHJ) is pleased to announce the promotion of David Sternberg to Partner. David has been at GHJ since 2009 and is a key member of the Transaction Advisory Practice at the firm.

“David has deep expertise and talent that has helped us provide unparalleled service to our clients,” said Leon Janks, managing partner at GHJ. “I am excited to have him step into this role as a partner at the Firm and know he will have numerous contributions to help us grow. David’s transaction advisory experience is an asset to the Firm’s Transaction Advisory Practice, and his consultative mindset will contribute to GHJ’ ongoing growth within its Advisory Practice. With his promotion to partner, David will help advance the Firm’s robust middle-market Audit Practice with a concentration on high-growth, entrepreneurial-minded organizations.

David has significant clients in all of the Firm’s core niche areas and enjoys working in both a due diligence and advisory role with his clients. He has built trusted relationships with clients who know they can count on him to help them with their needs.

About David Sternberg

David Sternberg has over 11 years of public accounting experience providing audit, transactional and general business advisory services. He previously worked for a Big Four firm and joined GHJ in October 2009. His industry experience includes closely held entities operating in a wide variety of industries including food and beverage, media and technology, manufacturing and distribution, real estate, nonprofits and family offices.

David’s experience also includes companies backed by private-equity groups. In addition to performing audits and reviews, he has extensive experience in advising in the area of mergers and acquisitions, providing financial due diligence consulting such as quality of earnings, working capital analysis, EBITDA analysis and projections. David has assisted on deals ranging from $5 million to $200 million.
