LOS ANGELES, CA, Oct. 19, 2018… Green Hasson Janks (GHJ) is proud to announce that its Chief Marketing and Strategy Officer Mari-Anne Kehler has been named a winner of “The CMO Transformation Award” at the 2018 CMO Club Awards. The CMO Transformation Award recognizes demonstrated ability to lead companywide brand transformation beyond the marketing department.

“Green Hasson Janks is proud to have a world-class leader such as Mari-Anne on our team, and I am thrilled that she is being recognized for her transformative work at our Firm by The CMO Club,” GHJ’s Managing Partner Tom Barry said. “Mari-Anne’s innovation and contributions have helped transform our Firm’s culture and overall growth strategy and upgraded our marketplace impact significantly.”

Established by The CMO Club to acknowledge and celebrate the marketing industry’s brightest marketing executives and provide a forum where CMO stand-outs can share their road to success with marketing peers, the 2018 CMO Awards is the only CMO awards program where marketing executives are thoughtfully considered, nominated and voted on solely by an elite group of peer marketers, including The CMO Club board, chapter presidents and key members.

This year, Mari-Anne is being recognized for the CMO Transformation Award along with Kevin Doohan (EVP, CMO, Xperi Corporation), Rick Gomez (EVP, CMO, Target) and Jeanniey Mullen (Global CMO, Mercer).

“I am honored to be recognized with such an elite group of fellow CMOs,” Mari-Anne said. “Throughout my career, and especially during my time at Green Hasson Janks, I have always strived to make an impact. It is a real pleasure to be recognized for those efforts, especially by peers and an impressive organization like The CMO Club led by Pete Kralik.”

Mari-Anne has over 30 years of experience and leads the GHJ’s strategy, business development and marketing initiatives, and recently it was announced that Mari-Anne will become a partner at the firm at the beginning of 2019. In her role at the Firm, Mari-Anne engages leadership to institute changes that improve both revenues and make the Firm a well-known presence in the marketplace. Mari-Anne has been instrumental in key initiatives that have transcended and transformed Green Hasson Janks’ company culture and have had lasting impact far beyond just the marketing department and marketing strategy. Her efforts and influence have transformed the Firm’s vision, re-engineered its brand, created and publicized a culture focused on more than just work and redefined how the Firm approaches client service. It is through her guidance and insight that GHJ has become not only a better place to work but also a powerhouse in the market.

The 2018 CMO Award winners and the 2018 CMO Hall of Fame Inductee will be celebrated during the 2018 CMO Awards Roundtable and Dinner on Tuesday, November 13, 2018, at Current at Chelsea Piers, New York City.
